Origin Storage telah mengumumkan Data Locker series, PIN encrypted external hard drive dengan dua model baru yang menyediakan kapasitas 750GB dan 1TB
[cut]Dengan dimensi 3,13"(W) x 5,11"(D) x 0,91"(H), memiliki konektivitas USB 2.0, fungsi one touch erase, deteksi hardware berbasis malware/defleksi, dan AES encryption - 128bit untuk Data Locker Pro dan 256bit untuk Data Locker Enterprise.[/cut]

"We are proud to be first to market with a 1TB portable hardware encrypted drive that offers our customers the flexibility required in today's mobile world," kata Andy Cordial, Managing Director at Origin Storage. "Data Locker is gaining a lot of recognition and the increase in capacity coupled with the new pricing structure will ensure customers demands continue to be exceeded."

Model 750GB dan 1TB untuk Data Locker Pro AES drive memakan biaya £ 299 / $ 488, sedangkan 750GB dan 1TB untuk Data Locker Enterprise AES drive memiliki harga £ 399 / $ 651.
